About Us
Southern Skies Ranch has been horse boarding since 1998, we are family owned and operated horse stable, plus we live here on the premises. Stables located in Weeki Wachee, Florida in north western Hernando County. We cater to Trail Riders, but also offer help with Training, Obstacles, Round Pen, Arena and Jumping Area as added fun and entertainment for both horse and owner.
We have a First Class operation planned and designed specifically for the comfort and safety of our Equine partners. We offer individual paddocks, fenced with no climb horse fence and boards, individual waters and hay access for each horse. Our stalls are a comfortable 12 X 12 with automatic waterers, outside accessible hay and feed racks.
For our boarders convenience we have locking individual 4X4X8 ft lockers with heat and AC, to keep your tack and accessories healthy. We have a Bunk House for parties that contains a full kitchen and Bathroom with Shower. Our two 12 X 24 ft porches add the ambiance for socializing or just relaxing.
We treat your horses as if they were ours. With the finest care and supervision, all performed with love. All board includes OBS Pellets Plus grain and Tiffton 44 hay.
You have a choice of riding the trails right on our property, or go through our back gate into plenty of wooded trails plus the Annuteliga Hammock on Centralia Road, a 2000 acre park that boasts 10 miles of marked trails, for walkers and Horseback riders, no motorized vehicles!
